SEND & RIPLEY HISTORY SOCIETY

This short film was inspired by the BBC initiative – The Art That Made Us - a documentary series in April 2022 exploring our creative history. The series examines how pivotal works of art, literature, design and music have helped shape our creative story. Send and Ripley History Society were keen to participate and so we decided to showcase Clarence Sex and family –the blacksmiths of Send who made wrought iron into an art form.
