Bi-monthly copy of the Society’s Journal.

All members receive a bi-monthly copy of the Society’s Journal, both by chosen delivery method and via the Members Area of the Society's website. 

 

Free access to the last 12 Journals.

Access to the last 12 Journals via the Society's website, otherwise not available to non-members. 

A regular programme of free winter meetings

A regular programme of meetings is held in the winter, featuring speakers on a wide range of historical subjects mostly of local and sometimes of national interest. 

A regular programme of summer visits

During the summer months of May to August, half-day or evening visits are arranged to places of interest, and usually this includes a whole day visit to somewhere further afield.

​Access to research tools at the Society’s museum.

​As a member you are entitled to use the Society’s museum for research (by appointment) to borrow books from the small library and to view various documents held there. ​​

Membership

​Membership is by a simple annual subscription.

There are two membership types:​

  • Personal - Receive ONE invitation to each event.

  • Double - Receive TWO invitations to each event.​​

There are three delivery methods:

  • Digital - For a digital Journal delivered anywhere in the world by email.​

  • Local  - For a printed Journal hand delivered within Send or Ripley.

  • National - For a printed Journal posted anywhere in the UK.

 

International - ​For membership outside of the UK, please subscribe to a Digital Membership as we do not post internationally. ​​​​​
