The History of Richardson's
Then and now - The Living history of our village

1/1
The row of shops that now includes One Stop and Richardson's was once James Tedder’s store. He married W B Green’s sister Elizabeth and they lived at Moreholme, which is now Ripley Curry Garden.
International Stores took over from Tedders and subsequently Jack Richardson took on and extended the business. When the Richardson's decided to give up the grocery side of things, the right hand end became the convenience store that is there today and Richardson's occupied the premises to the left of the Ship. Initially this was a hardware shop and a florist and they even sold motorbikes. Today they are a florist and a gift shop.
